Bollywood power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are set to move into their luxurious new home in Mumbai’s prestigious Pali Hill area this Diwali 2025, marking a significant milestone for the family.
The six-storey mansion, valued at approximately ₹250 crore, is among the most expensive celebrity residences in India.
A Home Built on Legacy
The magnificent bungalow has been constructed on the site of the historic Krishna Raj Bungalow, originally built by legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor and his wife Krishna Raj Kapoor.
The property was later handed over to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in 1980 and has now been revamped to serve as the primary residence for Ranbir, Alia, their daughter Raha, and Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor .
Reports suggest that the property will be registered in Raha Kapoor’s name, continuing the Kapoor family tradition.
Years in the Making
The house has been under construction for several years, with Ranbir, Alia, and Neetu Kapoor frequently spotted inspecting the progress.
The mansion features world-class interiors with soft grey exteriors, rows of lush green plants adorning each balcony, and warm chandeliers lighting up high-ceilinged spaces.
The design blends classic family heritage with modern luxury, including dedicated entertainment zones and a beautifully landscaped terrace garden.
Gratitude and New Beginnings
The couple shared their excitement through an official statement, expressing gratitude while requesting privacy: “Diwali is all about gratitude and new beginnings. As we move into our new home, we are thankful for all the warmth and support you’ve shown us and we hope we can continue to rely on your consideration for our privacy and that of our family, home and wonderful neighbours. Sending you and your family all our love this festive season. Happy Diwali!”.
The move is particularly special as it will allow the family to celebrate both Diwali and Raha’s third birthday on November 8 in their new home.
On the professional front, Ranbir and Alia are currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War alongside Vicky Kaushal, while Alia also has YRF’s spy film Alpha with Sharvari in the pipeline.
