SSC result
The SSC CGL Answer Key 2025 for the Tier 1 exam was officially released on October 16, 2025, on the Staff Selection Commission’s official website at www.ssc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared in the exam held from September 12 to 26, with a re-exam on October 14, can now download the answer key along with their individual response sheets and question papers. To download the answer key, candidates need to visit the SSC website, click on the “Answer Key” link, and enter their registration number and password or date of birth for access.
Candidates can use the answer key to calculate their approximate scores before the final results are declared. The marking scheme is: +2 marks for each correct answer and -0.5 marks for each wrong answer. Objections against the provisional answer key can be raised by paying a fee of Rs. 50 per question from October 16 to October 19, 2025. If objections are accepted, the answer key may be revised.
The Tier 1 result is expected in November 2025, and candidates qualifying in Tier 1 will move on to the Tier 2 exam, tentatively scheduled for December 2025. The answer key download link and the objection process are available only for a limited time, so candidates are advised to access them promptly
To download the SSC CGL 2025 answer key officially, follow these steps:
- Visit the official SSC website: https://ssc.nic.in
- On the homepage, look for the news or notification section related to “Answer Key” or “CGL Tier 1 Exam 2025.”
- Click on the relevant link titled “SSC CGL Answer Key 2025” or similar.
- You will be directed to a new page where you need to enter your login credentials, such as your registration ID/roll number and password/date of birth.
- Submit the details, and the answer key along with your response sheet will be displayed.
- Download the answer key PDF for your reference.
